MDX is Hard

I scrapped the idea of using it.

I was creating a 'Journal' section on my website. I look for best practices on the internet. I found that everyone is using the Mark Down's superset, MDX.

My website is using Next.js, so I've read "MDX" somewhere before. I go to the Next.js documentation and simply follow the instruction. It was so confusing and ruined my day ๐Ÿ˜ค.

Honestly, my knowledge about front-end web is not that advanced. I'm a junior developer. And I just want my problem solved with as little effort (and little money) as possible, but with the most advanced styling option. This is why I don't use Hashnode for this 'Journal' stuff.

The next day, With a clear head, I was thinking, "Wait a minute, why should I use Mark Down? Especially with that complicated setup?" HTML is also a markup language. And I don't use VSCode for writing, so I don't have the distraction of the HTML tag. By the way, I use iA Writer, a great simple writing app (but not at a great price, though ๐Ÿ™‚). It's perfect because it has a "Copy HTML" feature.

With just HTML on my Next.js Page, I can put React Component too. I don't see the point of MDX for me right now ๐Ÿ™ƒ.
